Our  Volunteer/Internship Team Members
help with various tasks,
from daily support to long-term commitment.

Aimée Todd   |   Art Historian Archivist
Originating from Northern England, Aimée completed her MA (Hons) in Art History and Classical Studies at the University of St Andrews in Scotland. Post-graduation, she traversed Europe, engaging in various cultural sectors before focusing on her passion for Museology. She is set to complete her Master’s in Museum Studies at the University of Leiden in the coming year. Concurrently, at Spanda, Aimée assists in cataloguing Sahlan Momo’s artworks in the catalogue raisonné and contributes to his forthcoming project Meeting in the Cave.

Laura Cambiganu    |   Librarian.
Laura was born and grew up in Italy, where her passion for culture, books and reading led her to study Cultural Heritage and gain an MA in Archival and Library Science in Rome. After some work experience in Italy, she decided to move to The Hague to expand her cultural horizons and professional competencies.
Willing to start her new life in the country by volunteering, she joined the Spanda Foundation volunteer team and she is currently cataloguing the inspiring book collections of the Sahlan Momo Foundation Library.

Christel Haidar    |   Development Internship.
Christel is a Lebanese Master’s student in Public and Culture Diplomacy at the University of Siena, Italy. Her love for politics and for her country played a major role in pushing her to graduate with a BA in Political Science and International Affairs at the University of Balamand, Lebanon. Her love of exploring different cultures, meeting new people, and visiting different cities gave her the incentive to move to The Hague for an internship before she graduates. Christel is a very sociable person, who aims to increase her knowledge in development studies and eventually be able to give back to her country. LinkedIn

Mariya Karagyozova    |    Organisation.
Mariya has extensive years of banking experience in creating, implementing and developing new products as well as private and investment banking.
She is PhD in Indian Literature and Culture at the University of Sofia, Bulgaria, focusing on the theoretical and practical aspects of the creative universal pulse of consciousness (Spanda) in Kashmiri Saivism philosophy, an interest which drew her to both the Spanda Journal and the Meetings in the Cave project.

Yusriyah Momo    |   Assistant.
Yusriyah is currently in her gap year, after which she will continue her academic learning at the University of Humanistic Studies, in Utrecht, Netherlands. The current pandemic crisis served as a motivator to help out at the Spanda Foundation, where she contributes as an assisting helping hand, this being her first encounter with culture-oriented work.

Imran Ali Namazi    |   Webmaster.
Imran is a curious mix of all the wonderful ideas and places he has been to, ‘standing on the shoulders of giants’ that cared to commit their views, experiences and thought experiments to paper, video and audio. Sensitive to the world and its problems, he created YieldMore.org as a way to build more harmony, inspiration and collaboration around us. Apart from that, he runs cselian.com and is a writer.
