It was a cultural and educational project focusing on the themes of intercultural and interfaith dialogue, diversity, development, discovery and personal integration through the active participation in both Spanda’s Jubilo and Musiké projects.
Its goal was to raise awareness on the selected themes, to further youth entrepreneurship and skills by deepening the volunteer competencies in the different areas of actions, such as project coordination, event and workshop organisation, volunteer coordination, administrative assistance, fundraising and networking, researches, based on the volunteer individual predispositions, latent and known qualities, in addition to her acquired knowledge and trades.
The country involved was Slovakia, and the 1 volunteer, Ms M. N., was hosted for 12 months. She worked cooperatively with others interns, volunteers, and Spanda personnel in carrying on the daily commitment of the Foundation, contributing to the individual flourishing and empowerment of her individual skills. Through the EVS experience, she boosted her learning and operational process that, ultimately, enabled her to confidently and positively brace the future job market challenges.
The applied methodology was centred on non-formal high education and on the mutual sharing of know-how and expertise amongst volunteers, interns and Spanda personnel.
